MANHATTAN — A taste of the Sunshine State is on tap in Chelsea.

World of Beer, a national chain of beer-focused restaurants originally from Florida, will soon open at the corner of West 26th Street and Eighth Avenue.

The Chelsea spot will be the chain's first location in New York City, and it will have 4,500 square feet of brews, sports and pub grub. The bar will offer more than 500 craft beers from 47 countries.

The franchise, which has more than 50 locations across the country, began in Tampa and was started by brew buddies Scott Zepp and Matt LaFonn.

World of Beer is the second retail score for Chelsea Park, a 204-unit residential development that will also soon be home to a Blink Fitness location.

Winick Realty Group, which has acted as a broker for World of Beer as it expands onto New York and Long Island, facilitated the deal to take over the space.
