QUEENS — A newly opened luxury rental building atop the Rego Center Mall offers Manhattan-style amenities and “spectacular views,” according to the developer.

The 27-story building, called The Alexander at Rego Center, at 61-55 Junction Boulevard boasts a rooftop terrace with seating and a barbecue area as well as an indoor and outdoor children’s playground.

“Rising 27 stories above Rego Center, residents will marvel at the breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, Central Queens and beyond while enjoying easy access to the roster of nationally-recognized retailers and eateries below at the area’s premier shopping destination,” the developer said in a statement.

Residents don't even have to go out to have a busy social life as the 312-apartment tower features a fitness center, game room and social lounge with a kitchen and fireplace.

Constructed by Vornado Realty Trust, the pet friendly building also offers 24-hour concierge, bike storage and onsite parking.

The apartments, as first reported by Curbed, come with “nine-foot ceiling heights, white oak flooring, Caesarstone quartz countertops and Italian porcelain tile flooring in kitchens and baths, and Whirlpool stainless steel appliances,” according to the developer.

Monthly rents start from $2,025 for studios, $2,360 for one-bedroom apartments and $3,180 for two-bedroom units.

In recent years, Rego Park has been getting an infusion of upscale buildings that offer luxury units.

Located near the Long Island Expressway and about 45 minutes from midtown Manhattan by train, Rego Park has been popular among young families who find it more affordable than Forest Hills or Astoria.

“We believe The Alexander is a perfect complement to the area and one that will attract both existing and new residents who are drawn to Rego Park’s attributes and desire a more modern, amenity-rich lifestyle,” said Geoff Smith, vice president of development for Vornado Realty Trust.
