Man With Razor Blade Robs Dunkin' Donuts Shops on Back to Back Days: Police

MANHATTAN — A razor blade-wielding thief robbed two separate Dunkin' Donut outposts on consecutive days last week, police said. 

On Aug. 4, the male suspect entered the donut shop on Broadway near West 159th Street shortly before 8 p.m. and threatened a 25-year-old employee with a razor blade before demanding cash, police said. The suspect snagged $400 from the cash register before fleeing.

The next day, the man targeted a Dunkin’ Donuts on Broadway and West 101st Street at about 10:45 a.m., threatening a 19-year-old employee with a razor blade and making off with $757 from the cash register, police said.

The suspect is described as about 28 years old, standing 5-foot-9 with black hair and a muscular build. He was last seen wearing Ray Ban sunglasses and a gray T-shirt, police said.
