Where To Watch the Third Presidential Debate

It's time for the final showdown.

Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump will face off for their third televised debate Wednesday, Oct. 19, at at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Moderator Chris Wallace, a Fox News anchor, has selected six topics for discussion at the event: the national debt, the economy, the Supreme Court, foreign policy, immigration, and their fitness to be president. 

The debate will be broadcast live on C-SPAN, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, as well as cable channels including CNN, Fox News and MSNBC. 

If you don't own a television, but you still want to watch Sunday's debate at home, you can tune in on Twitter, Facebook Live or YouTube.

Or, if you prefer to mull over the future of 'Merica with the help of booze and company, you can head over to one of these venues:

MANHATTAN

 HiFi, 169 Avenue A, East Village

The debate will be screened here with sound on one TV and one large projection screen. "No one knows what the Orange As**-Clown has up his sleeve for his final chance to Make America White Again," the bar's Facebook page says, "so its probably a good idea to have gallons of whisky on hand. We got that covered...."

► Beckett's Bar & Grill, 81 Pearl St., Financial District

Match your wits against fellow traders and politicos in downtown Manhattan as you watch Trump and Clinton's final showdown. The first 50 people that walk though the door get a free drink. You can RSVP here

► Housing Works Bookstore Cafe, 126 Crosby St., SoHo

At this "show and watch" party, comedians Keisha Zollar, Joel Kim Booster, Connor Ratliff, Aparna Nancherla and Jo Firestone will participate in a mock debate before the televised event. The mock debate starts at 8 p.m., and $8 tickets include a free drink. 

► Tryon Public House, 4740 Broadway, Inwood

"Is there enough drink in America for these things?" There may be at this uptown Manhattan gastropub. 

 Stout NYC, 133 W 33rd St., Midtown

Meet up with members of the National Institute for Reproductive Health Action Fund at 8 p.m. to watch the "first female nominee and life-long advocate for reproductive health and rights match off against the most unabashedly anti-choice, anti-woman nominee one last time." You can RSVP here

► Bleecker Street Bar, 56 Bleecker St., NoHo

Small Town Brewery will offer tastings of their alcoholic root beer and vanilla cream sodas at this laid-back bar's debate watching party, kicking off at 8 p.m. Also on the menu: debate-themed drinks and specials. During the televised event, there will be debate bingo with prizes.

Tumblr Inc., 35 E 21st St., Flatiron District 

Join the Guardian US, WNYC and Tumblr for a viewing party featuring pre-debate rooftop drinks, a big screen, political games and a post-debate panel with The Nation's Kai Wright, The Guardian's Jessica Valenti and CNN's Tanzina Vega. Tickets are $20 and admission includes beer, wine and light snacks.

Chapo Trap House Live, Caroline’s on Broadway, 1626 Broadway, Times Square

Join the wickedly funny and crude boys of the Chapo Trap House podcast for live-action commentary on the debate. This election is laugh or cry, so you might as well do both. Things get started at 9 p.m., and tickets are $15 at the door. 

BROOKLYN

The Saint Catherine, 660 Washington Ave., Prospect Heights

If you want to grab a seat to watch the debate on the big screen at this Brooklyn watering hole, arrive early. 

Union Hall, 702 Union St., Park Slope

If either candidate says something infuriating while you're watching the debate, release your anger with a round of bocce.

Congress Bar, 208 Court St., Cobble Hill

Head to Congress Bar for a refreshing cocktail — we recommend the award-winning Bloody Mary — and to watch the debate, which will be screened with sound. 

► The Monro Pub, 481 Fifth Ave., Park Slope

Democratic candidate for State Assembly Robert Carroll is hosting a debate watching party in the 44th assembly district. Carroll will provide updates about his race and tips on helping Clinton out in Pennsylvania.

► Starr Bar, 214 Starr St., Bushwick

Watch the debate in HD on a huge screen, with drink specials in your hand all night. Zilla Vodnas hosts a no-cover political comedy night at 7:30 p.m., in advance of the debate.

► 333 Lounge, 333 Flatbush Ave., Prospect Heights

Mingle with New York Urban League's Young Professionals at this debate watch party. Arriving before 9 p.m. is strongly recommended.

T.B.D. 244 Franklin St., Greenpoint

This spacious Greenpoint haunt is the perfect spot to congregate with your friends to watch the last presidential debate. The screening will also feature a pop-up dinner catered by YummyEats

► Brooklyn Bazaar, 150 Greenpoint Ave., Greenpoint

Watch the candidates debate the issues on the Brooklyn Bazaar's high-definition projector, with $7 beer and shot specials all night. "Maybe a surprise appearance from Ken Bone?" the Facebook event page teases. "Nah, we couldn't afford him."

Lo-Res at Nitehawk Cinema, 136 Metropolitan Ave., Williamsburg 

Independent movie theater Nitehawk will be screening the debate in their attacked bar Lo-Res, where you can slurp up specialty cocktails and gorge on bar snacks, while you watch.

QUEENS

 QED: A Place to Show & Tell, 27-16 23rd Ave., Astoria

The Astoria venue will be screening the event "Mystery Science Theater 3000"-style, with comedians/political commentators Frank Conniff, David Feldman and Myka Fox chiming in on mics during the debate. Tickets are $15.

► Austin's Ale House, 82-70 Austin St., Kew Gardens

The New Queens Democrats, a grassroots group calling for the reform of the Queens Democratic Party, is hosting a cover-free watch party. 

Raven's Head Public House, 3804 Broadway, Astoria

Join the Powhatan and Pocahontas Democratic Club, the Stonewall Democratic Club of NYC and the Lesbian & Gay Democratic Club of NYC  to cheer for Hillary at this Astoria pub. You can sign up in advance here

 Bowery Bay, 19-33 Ditmars Blvd., Astoria

Your bingo card at this Queens gastropub will include hot debate topics and candidate quotes. Mark them off as they arise on Wednesday. Prize go to the first, second and third person to get bingo. A flight of Colorado whiskey will also be available, as a nod to #whiskeywednesday and the swing state Colorado.  

THE BRONX

Viktoria Italian Restaurant, 3114 Third Ave., Melrose

Assemblyman Michael Blake's office will host a debate watch party at this South Bronx restaurant that will feature free pizza from 8 to 9 p.m. The party will be preceded by Clinton supporters making phone calls to battleground states from 5 to 8:45 p.m.
