CORONA — An 11-year-old girl kicked and fought off a man who grabbed her and threatened to kill her at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park during Arthur Ashe Kids' Day on Saturday, police said.

The victim was with her family watching a practice at one of the courts at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center inside the park at around 3:45 p.m, according to police.

A man approached her from behind, grabbed her wrist and demanded that she go with him, police said.

He also told her "come with me or I'll f---ing kill you," officials said.

The girl pulled her arm away from the suspect and kicked him, and the man fled from the practice area in an unknown direction, police said. It's not clear at which court they were watching practices.

Saturday was Arthur Ashe Kids' Day, an annual concert and tennis event that featured performances from Flo Rida, Zara Larsson and tennis matches from pros.

The suspect is between 25 and 35 years old, around 200 lbs and between 5'8" and 5'11", police said. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with stripes, khaki shorts, sunglasses and has a tattoo with words on his right wrist .

UPDATE: On Sunday evening, the NYPD "determined that the person depicted in the previously provided photograph was ruled out as a suspect," and DNAinfo has removed his photo from this article.
